HSBC Bank International Expat Explorer Results 2009 - Key results for the Middle East
The 2009 Expat Explorer report has shown that the UAE is an excellent destination for expatriates looking for a better economic quality of life, according to the world’s largest expat survey.

www.offshore.hsbc.com found that the UAE is an ideal financial location for expats. The UAE ranked 5th out of more than 50 countries who participated in the survey as an ideal financial location for expats, with respondents reporting an increase in their monthly disposable income after moving to the UAE. More than half of those surveyed reported a disposable income of over US$3,000 per month.
Individuals living in the UAE also save more now than prior to their move with 49% of expats having invested in managed funds and savings accounts also proving a popular choice for expats in the UAE.
