Under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Beautiful People launched their first art exhibition at the Grand Hyatt on the 31st October. The 12 winning artists were announced and their work displayed in front of dignitaries and the public. We were also extremely excited to announce that Beautiful People has been offered a villa in the Al Bastakyia District for the establishment of an art studio by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya and Dubai Culture and Art Authority which will be opened early 2010.
The arts studio will be a relaxed yet vibrant place where those people with a special need can develop their talents and learn new life skills, whilst having fun along the way. The Beautiful People
teachers will be qualified individuals who will devote their time in teaching and assisting students to achieve their highest potential.
The art studio will incorporate a café which will be open to the public in which students can learn basic hospitality skills such as food preparation and service from qualified hospitality trainers. These important life skills will help those people with a special need to integrate into society and feel that they are making a contribution.
To make this possible we need ongoing support and Beautiful People are looking for dedicated volunteers, who can spare one or two days a week. If you possess a hospitality, art or graphic design background this would be advantageous. Importantly, if you love working with people and would like to make a difference, please contact email@example.com
We are also excited announce the launch of the Beautiful People H20 coffee crockery. The crockery features the artwork from the 12 winning artists with a special need which were announced at the H20 Art Exhibition. The crockery will be available for sale at all More Café’s from mid January at 225AED per box and all revenue raised goes directly towards the art studio.
