Well the month of February has gone so quickly and here we are in March already, our planned Parents Open Days went very well with a great attendance from parents.

Sensory Garden

As part of our ongoing development of our nurseries we have created a sensory garden in both branches. These wonderful areas will create an area for all the children to explore their senses through touch, smell and sound this which will really support the children in their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. We have some wonderful pictures of our wonderful children enjoying different parts of the gardens, this new addition has been a real “hit” with our little ones who have enjoyed the different experiences they can be involved in.
 

Spring Holiday Club

We have a fabulous Spring Holiday Club planned for our Mirdif branch with themed groups.  The little ones can be a Dancing Dolphin, a Busy Bee, a Minnie Mover or a Funky Monkey. The aim of the group is FUN FUN FUN so whether they are creating a work of art or releasing some energy in the soft room a fun timetable of activities is planned for all.

Active Tots Programme

Our exciting Active Tots programme which started last month has been designed to support children undertaking an active lifestyle. The simple plans are

Boogie Tots
This programme has been developed to help build children’s confidence, their spatial awareness and rhythm skills. Research shows that children undertaking simple action songs of rhyme and rhythm improve their literacy skills through their listening and concentration and as well as this the sessions are fun!

Sporty Tots
The Sporty Tots programme has been designed to give children the basic skills of sport and to develop their confidence and spatial awareness. Their rolling, catching, throwing, jumping and movement are improved through a regular focus on those areas. Children’s listening skills are also developed in a fun and exciting way!
