JULY NEWS
Computer Based e-Learning for St. Andrews
Starting in September, two classes will be piloting a computer based e-learning system in St. Andrews School. This involves a percentage of the class work (maths, English etc.) being placed in a cache as directed by the teacher. The children will be able to download school work, complete it on a computer and then upload it for the teacher to review. This will bring St. Andrews in line with the top education programmes being offered around the world.
We are in an information era and we are taking action to prepare our children for this media. Often children with learning difficulties respond very well to e-learning and this mode of schooling. We are excited to make this jump to computer based e-learning. In the new year, in addition to their Individual Learning Programme, the children will have and Individual Computer Learning Programme.
