BE HEALTHY FOR YOUR PET AND YOURSELF

Companion pets alter our life for the better. However, they become ill, or even die, of some of the same diseases that are now common among humans. On the other hand emotional triggering factors are powerful and can make animals sick as well they do in people!
At the Pet Connection Veterinary Clinic (Summer Land Building, Al Barsha 1, Dubai, UAE) we trust that a medicine integrating body, mind and soul is the best answer to an unbalanced equilibrium, and that a synergic attention to the ‘whole pet’s family’ is priority.
Our location in Summer Land Building, Al Barsha 1, Dubai, with ample free parking area in front, permits you to drop your dog, (bird, turtle) or cat for a check, vaccination or even an operation, while you reach within 3-minute walk LuLu Hypermarket to add a healthy choice of fruits, vegetables and fresh fish to your diet. Or, if you prefer, within 5-minute walk on the opposite side you can reach Carrefour in Emirates Mall, substantially increasing your exercise dose of the day, saving your precious time and helping your pet’s longevity.

Pet Connection is a new Vet Clinic in Al Barsha 1, where minimally invasive soft and bone surgeries, endoscopy, digitalized blood microscopy and advanced cancer therapy are performed by European specialists, aside tailored-made diets, vaccinations, microchip and behavioral rehabilitation.
Dr. Doreen Succow (DVM), from Germany, can easily identify minimal heart defects, thyroid (Basedow’) and surrenal (Cushing’) glands diseases, within the reach of her competent use of ultrasound probe. Early diagnosis of pregnancy and tumors being among the easiest tasks, there are a lot of little known but common conditions, including prostate enlargement, gastritis and urinary diseases of elderly that Dr. Doreen can meticulously identify. She’s now getting a PhD in echo-cardiology.
Specialist in animal nutrition, Dr. Lamia Amrani (DVM), from France, will guide you throughout the insidious labyrinth of choices of dry, ‘special’ and canned food for your beloved animal. She will hand you out a 4-pages leaflet on nutrition and dental care you can pick up freely and read at home at your ease that’s monthly updated!
An authority in veterinary dermatology, Dr. Walter Tarello, (DVM, MA Cardiology, MRCVS) from Italy, will help you to solve that chronic skin condition that drives you crazy and makes your dog or cat itchy and scratchy all the time. Desperate owners and housewives are now advised!
Dr. Walter is invited speaker to the forthcoming European Congress of Veterinary Dermatologists, ESVD/ECVD Florence, 22 Sept. 2010: (http://www.vetagenda.com/pdf/esvd-ecvd-pre-congress-day-2010.pdf) and he is also an exotic pets’ vet knowledgeable with birds, falcons and parrots, including wild animals, such as gazelles, leopards and cheetahs!!
