INSPIRE is a dream realized for us. With combined qualifications that include doctorate, master’s and bachelor degrees in psychology, early childhood education and special education and having worked in best practice models in the United States, we envisaged creating an environment that cherishes and celebrates our children and the joys of life and learning. With ongoing input and guidance from the Advisory Board comprising of international experts in education, child development and psychology (listed on our web site), INSPIRE strives to raise the bar in early childhood education and can truly claim to have brought global leaders in early childhood education to Dubai!

In January 2010 that dream became a reality as INSPIRE opened its doors to the community and has in such a short time developed a child and family-centred environment  in which we all (including children, their families, and staff) learn and grow together! How you may ask? In addition to our qualified, dedicated and amazing (!) staff that shares a passion for children, we adopted what we believe is an amazing integrated, holistic, comprehensive and developmentally appropriate programs and practices in line with our guiding principles: 

HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO

We promote and adhere to a child-centered individualised approach, so that learning and life exploration takes place at each child’s individual level, with sensitivity and awareness about the child’s needs, strengths and weaknesses. Each child’s progress is monitored closely across all developmental milestones to ensure their needs and curiosities are being met as they are identified. Research shows that your child’s early experiences are crucial to his/her development. At INSPIRE, we understand the role of the environment in the learning experience, and thus ensure that ours is stimulating, nurturing, and fun. Our belief is that all children are competent learners, and that each child is unique.  What makes caring for children so enjoyable and satisfying in such an environment is the ability to appreciate the everyday discoveries that delight a child; the colour dancing on the walls, the bells that chime, the puzzle piece completing the picture.

We have adopted the Creative Curriculum precisely because it is child-driven. In other words it helps identify and respond to children’s changing interests and abilities – the curriculum is anything but rigid. The Creative Curriculum is individualised. Each child is unique; each child is driven and motivated by his or her curiosities, likes and dislikes.  For that reason the aim is to place them in an environment that stimulates those curiosities and leave the teaching staff to facilitate and build on their learning through observation and individualisation.

WHO WE CATER TO & HOW

INSPIRE is serving the community as an early learning center catering for children from the ages of 3 months to 4 years.

INSPIRE is open and offering services to the community 12 months of the year with 3 academic terms (September – June) and 2 summer camps (July and August) in a calendar year. Drop off is between 7.30 – 8:00am and pick-up is either 12.00, 2:00 or 5:00pm.

As parents and carers we want the assurance that our children are safe, nurtured and provided the best care possible outside our homes. For those reasons and in developing a program of the highest quality possible, Inspire refers to the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

When visiting INSPIRE you will notice that we maintain high quality standards.  Within the large classrooms we have exemplary adult/child ratios, keep limited group sizes and provide ample space.  The environment and facilities afford extensive outdoor play areas (grass and soft floor) with equipment imported from Denmark with EU safety specifications, a large enclosed swimming pool for splash pool and swimming lessons, a fully fitted basement for summer play and activities, two full sized kitchens for cookery, sand and water play, garden for planting and watching seeds grow and much more!
