Mr. Riad Kudsi established the EYSO in 1993. It is a non-profit organisation and is open to all musicians aged 5-18 years old. Its mission extends beyond the teaching of classical music to include sponsoring charitable events and projects. The young musicians in the orchestra come from many different countries but are joined by a common love of music which Mr. Kudsi believes is the international language for expressing feelings and emotions.
 
Mr. Kudsi teaches all levels of violin and viola to a very high standard at his Music Conservatoire in Internet City. If you would like lessons Mr. Kudsi will give a short and informal audition to your child to make sure they are suitable for playing a stringed instrument.

The orchestra has repeatedly performed in several international music festivals in the Czech Republic, France, Kuwait and Oman.
