Hi we live in the ranches and only needed emaar approval to do it, used a company called cygnet who did a great job and managed the process of approval from emaar too for a small fee so we had no hassle at all. They have done a lot of these so knew what they were doing, submitted drawings and did it all in about 12 weeks. They do a lot of work in the ranches but assume could do elsewhere, MD is a guy called David Taylor if you want to contact them.

Great thank you, sounds perfect. I will give him a call tomorrow.

A fan? That's far too generous.

I am looking for builder recommendations for someone to build an outside maids room with bathroom. If anyone has done one, I would appreciate any contacts. Thank you.

You will need to use a consultant to submit your designs to Dubai Municipality to get building approval.

I live in the Springs so pretty sure I only need to submit to Emaar. I had some work done in March and only needed the Emaar approval. When you say consultant, do you mean architect?

think you need to still ask municipality first

Pretty sure that you would need to submit to authorities as well because you are a/ increasing the size of your property footprint and b/ you will be increasing consumption of water and usage of foul waste and water waste drainage. Best to double check.

Ok, thanks
