We have ceiling fans back home - where the temperatures are close to here - and keep our a/c's a couple of degrees higher. I don't like the fan option in the a/c - it seems to almost HEAT the room. Can you get nice ceiling fans here?

the fans are good in that inbetween period. we once had no a/c for 6 weeks in june and stand up fans saved our lives - it was absolutely fine !

Jaz, I am acutally looking for a filtering system for my whole house (not the one you can buy in Carrefour or Ace and put just before the shower). Can you give me a contact for this ?My trick - not sure they are that good :I put a big water bottle/ container to collect the water from the air conditioning system. Still need some improvements, but will be easily able to water the plants daily with the water.
