"Hello!  My name is Ted Bear and I am the official Q.A.W.S. mascot.  Some of you may know me already but for those of you who don't, I am an adventurous little bear and my latest journey will be to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in July.  It's a very long way to climb for a little bear like me so I am very lucky because my good friend Carl is coming with me and will carry (or should that be, BEAR the load?!) to the top.

Carl is not only super duper fit but is also a big supporter of Q.A.W.S. and will be doing the climb to raise money for the new kennels at Q.A.W.S., he's such a nice guy!  If you would like to support Carl and my climb of Mount Kilimanjaro then you can pledge a donation of any amount you like.  Every single bit will be going to Q.A.W.S. to help them with building the kennels and help them with their running costs over the unBEARable summer months.  So if you would like to donate, you can do so by emailing contact@qaws.org, visit the Q.A.W.S. shelter or call Q.A.W.S. directly on 539 6074 and one of the team will follow up with you to collect the money.  If you want to read more about our trip, visit either my Facebook page
