Oh yes thats the exact one I am thinking of. I didnt see the follow up. Poor woman. She totally trusted her Dh, as she should of course !! Oh no, also I cant believe the maid was made to be the full scapegoat and give birth alone when the Dh had caused it all along. I wonder what happened to the baby. Gosh gosh... how sad.

No, don't believe it was that one; it has been removed, unfortunately. It was a very long thread, over more than a year. The poster was first complaining about the maid being "too comfy" and having a bad attitude, then found out that the maid was "interested" in her husband, then they deported the maid, and later the maid had a baby and claimed the OP's husband was the father, and all the other posters went on speculating whether the husband was the father or not; apparently he initially denied it, but about a year or so later OP posted that her husband confessed etc. etc... and she was divorcing him. I was spellbound reading the whole thing. It was a long time ago.

OMG i was only thinking about that thread recently. It was gripping stuff!! Poor womans story unfolded before our very eyes. Did a Google search and found EW; then lurked for the longest time (found an amazing thread about a maid getting involved with the poster’s DH, thread has been removed) then decided to ask some questions and then answer some. It’s a great forum.

can't remember what my first post was but like others, husband came here a year before us so EW was useful for questions about the move and i "met" some nice helpful people  Had some unkind treatment too lol

My first question was asking about schools and not being able to get a place applying from the uk...i think i did sound quite sheepish come to think of it....ew was a scary place then...lol...within minutes I had responses from sponge money, smokey seven clairehdp and twilight (?) and a mini cat fight broke out over a certain R school.....

Sometimes I was vamooshed for a good reason (insulting folk...) and other times a total mystery... anyone remember this big Xmas cull back in 2009, was it? It was ruthless.. and few EW hatchlings left behind to tell the tale
