Review: Organic Manicure – Pedicure and Hair Treatment at BEDASHING

I was kindly offered to do a review for Bedashing Beauty Lounge in Abu Dhabi, having planned a day full of meetings here I ended the day with the most exquisite service and treatments.

Bedashing Beauty Lounge has 6 locations in Abu Dhabi: Al Nahyan Camp, WTC Souk, Khalifa City Villa, Al Khaleej Al Arabi Villa, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Al Falah Village 4 & also in Dubai : City Walk 2 and Mirdiff, (opening soon).

My visit was to Al Khaleej Al Arabi Villa, such an easy location to find with ample FREE off street in front of the villa. It’s a huge Villa which you cannot miss!

As you walk in through the pink doors the friendly and professional staff at the reception greet you with a happy and very welcoming smile. I was guided to the waiting area where there is any type of beverage that you would like from Latte, Cappuccino to Herbal teas and the refreshing and cooling Pink Lemonade and yes they are free of charge. As I was waiting for the ladies that were to going to do the Manicure & Pedicure the café is bright white with the beautiful Pink and looks out onto the garden, starting to unwind already! However being a curious as I am I wonder to the retail section just after the reception where they have a magnificent range of not only hair care but also body products. I see Whish products which I love and immediately pick up a Lavender body cream. All the haircare ranges from Redken to Keratase are also available on retail. And then I see the awards on display too.

I am then taken for a tour around Bedashing Beauty Lounge to the hair area and then upstairs to the VIP area for manicure and pedicures, what a amazing idea! If you want to relax in peace and quiet unwind tv or music this is the perfect area! But not only for this what a great space to have a Ladies / girlies day out or special occasion.

The beauty rooms are non-cluttered and lavishly yet simple with calming tones, if you are in a hurry and would like feet, waxing done at the same time they have the perfect beds which have an inbuilt sink. Very impressive. A Moroccan bath facilities are available too. This is the One Stop for all day pampering, relaxing or getting ready for special occasion day.

Down I go for my treatment, the lovely assistants greet me and ask me if I would like tv view or garden view…the perfect choice is the garden view. The nail area has all the latest trends in nail polishes from gellish to normal nail polish, making it a bit more difficult to choose.

As I sit down for my treatment to start my old polish is removed and the ritual begins, a elegant yet simple 2 tier arrives with all the organic treatments for my hands and feet. My feet and hands are soaked in Milk and rose petals the look of this is divine very Cleopatra like. Up to my knees and elbows I have natural honey rubbed in as a cleanser and then warm Lemon halves are rubbed into cleanse too, the lovely ladies explain to me one by one each treatment and benefits. Then a lovely delicate sugar scrub is applied all the way to knees and elbows. Mini cloths are opened which are to be used first time and only for me just like the towels for my feet and hands. There is no traditional towels, everything is disposable and used only for you which shows hygiene and cleanliness though out the beauty lounge. Arms and legs are wiped clean with warm water and towels and then a mud mask is applied to both, placed in clear plastic bags and wrapped in disposable towels again and placed inside warm mitts. Now I am left to real for 10 – 15 mins… with the warm feeling the garden view its impossible to keep my eyes open so I just tilt my head back an rest my eyes.

Times up! The plastic bags are removed and the mud mask wiped off with warm disposable towels again. Now the Vitamin C cream is applied and massaged in with such professional technique. My nail polish is applied and sprayed after for a quick dry. Now time for the Organic Hair treatment!

I move from nail room to the hair salon area where Koralia welcomes me with a happy smile and explains to me the options of Organic hair treatment: Aloe Vera, Avocado or Coffee. I choose Aloe Vera and Avocado as the smells are not pungent.

Fresh Aloe Vera is applied / rubbed into to my scalp a cool feeling but very refreshing feel too. We all know the benefits of aloe Vera but im also given a guide to have a read. A disposable shower cap is placed on my head and here I wait for 15 mins.. time to wash off! On towel dried hair here comes the Avocado. To be honest looks edible like dip a chip into edible. Applied to the roots and scalp first the massages to the ends of my hair which has bleach process, shower cap again then another 15 minutes’ wait. The Aloe Vera was shampooed off but the Avocado was rinses off very well. No need for conditioner even on my bleached hair. My hair is comb able with ease. I ask for a good finger dry but can see the shine on my hair, feels silky and soft.

What an amazing feeling my hands, feet and hair are soft, silky and love the new fresh polish.
