A Massive Park is Coming to Al Reem Island

Al Reem Island is well on its way to becoming an entertainment hub, with six residential towers and a new massive public park.

A Massive Park is Coming to Al Reem Island

Reem Island is one of Abu Dhabi’s up-and-coming neighbourhoods and now, there’s even more reason for residents to consider it. It’s also set to become one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Emirate.

The Bridges project along with a massive new public park are about to make the area all that much more appealing for residents. The residential project consists of six apartment blocks.

The residential mid-rise towers will be made up of 1,272 apartments, from studios to three bedrooms. Tenants will be able to enjoy gyms, swimming pools and an outdoor fitness arena.

The project will be surrounding the new 2.4km-long canal.

Reem Central Park

The outdoor space of Reem Central Park will span over an area of one million square feet. Costing an epic Dh250 million, it will include:

  • A massive mosque
  • Retail shops
  • Restaurants and cafes
  • A skate park
  • A climbing wall
  • A public beach
  • A playground for kids
  • Lots of green areas
  • Interactive water features

What else does Al Reem Island have?

Al Reem Island is undoubtedly one of the fastest growing areas in Abu Dhabi. It will be home to Reem Mall, which features the first indoor ski slope in the Emirate and expected to launch in 2020.

The new Repton School building is also located there as well and is expected to open sometime this year. You also can’t miss the eye-catching apartment complex Gate Towers.

It’s also located a few minutes away from Al Maryah Island, which houses The Galleria mall and the upcoming Al Maryah Central.  

When to expect this?

Reem Central Park is expected to open in 2018. The Bridges residential project will be completed by 2020.
