In order to connect to the gas supply you have to contact Azerigaz which is responsible for the supply of gas. All you need is a completed application form and an appropriate service fee. Azerigaz will come to your place of residence and complete an inspection, thereafter the gas connection can be installed.
The gas can be disconnected when residents are leaving for longer periods of time.

Written notification is required to disconnect a gas supply. Once Azerigas receives it, the meter is read, any outstanding payments are collected and the meter is disconnected.
The gas supply is cut off if a bill is not paid within one month after the bill is issued.
