Leave Allowances In Bahrain

Annual Leave

All employees are entitled to 30 days holiday annually and is accrued at a rate of 2.5 days per month

Sick Leave Entitlement

55 days are allowed per year broken down into the following payout level...

  • 15 days at full pay

  • 20 days at half pay

  • 20 days no pay

Maternity Leave

New mothers to be can take 60 days paid leave and then15 days unpaid leave
Ladies with kids below 6 are entitled to leave without pay for up to 6 months and this can be taken for up to 3 children.
