There is also an inexpensive laundry facility ( a little Thai lady!) a few minutes walk away, don’t take designer clothes, buy extremely good imitation stuff there!

It has 3 airconditioned double bedrooms, and sleeps 6 comfortably. The master bedroom is upstairs with a large private balcony and a stunning sea view. Second twin bed room also upstairs. 2 bathrooms, one upstairs, one downstairs. The third double bedroom is downstairs. All bedrooms look out onto the pool and lush greenery of the small private complex.

There is a fully equipped open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, however it’s lovely to eat outside on the lower balcony looking at the view. The lounge area has a TV, DVD player ( check the cheap copies you purchase locally) and WIFI so the kids precious laptops allow them to stay in constant touch with friends on Facebook ( not necessarily a plus!).

Local restaurants within walking distance on the beach.  Car hire inexpensive, driving easy especially for veterans of Sh. Zayed Rd. Spectacular 18 hole golf course cut into hills 10 mins drive. Airport 25 mins. Shops, restaurants, supermarket ( Tesco) 10mins. Ferry trips, kayaking, snorkelling, elephant treks, waterfalls, treetop runways, karting, tiger, bird and crocodile shows, Thai boxing, nightlife.
