There's no denying it's been a lengthy work in progress, with many of us believing it would be completed in early 2016.

But while it's been constructed at a slower pace, we can forgive the delay because even during it's construction phase, the Dubai Frame looks incredible... And we can't wait to see the finished result!

Located near Star Gate at Zaabeel Park, the frame's purpose is to - of course, not just attract tourists and residents to visit it - but to form a lovely frame of both 'New Dubai' and 'Old Dubai', whichever way you look through.

Dubai Frame

As an architectural landmark icon, it culturally links the past with the present, and will no doubt be an important attraction for visitors to the Emirate.

We're still not 100% when the project will be complete, but back in late 2016, it was believed to be soon(ish).

In fact, they've actually begun to add the GOLD cladding onto the outside, with some impressive and intricate designs across the windows too.

Here's some amazing snaps of the Dubai Frame so far shared on social media for all to enjoy...

Check out that gold cladding! So lovely, we can't wait to see it finished.

An incredible view of the building 'framing' Downtown Dubai... A.k.a. 'New Dubai'.

Spot the gold! It's most definitely going to be eye-catching when complete.
