Dubai Breaks Yet Another Guinness World Record

If a city can be called an overachiever, Dubai would definitely earn that label. From the world’s biggest mall to the world’s longest graffiti scroll, you’ll likely find one of Dubai’s accomplishments at every corner.

And now, it has achieved yet another record. The Guinness World Records recently confirmed that the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City is showing the world’s largest permanent projection mapping. It’s projected onto the side of the hotel and it’s a part of the multi-sensory Imagine show A Child’s Dream.

The show also features:

  • 30 illuminated fountains, reaching up to 50 metres
  • Nine high-powered laser systems
  • Six massive aqua screen, giving off the illusion of liquid walls, and covering 1,271 square metres.
