Celebrate the arrival of Christmas in Dubai and enjoy A Classic Christmas at WAFI this December, as their famous Santa's Grotto will open its doors. 

Your children will have the chance to meet Santa in Dubai, as WAFI will be buzzing with excitement to celebrate the joyous occasion as Christmas tinkles ring through the mall. 

Kick-starting the festive celebrations on December 7th, WAFI will be the perfect place to welcome the spirit of the season with an exceptional choir performance by the children of Dubai British School, Jumeirah Park from 5pm onwards. The event will be hosted by Kris Fade, who will then accompany Santa to turn on the lights of the magical Christmas tree to mark the beginning of the celebrations.

A Classic Christmas at WAFI

Renowned for their yearly Santa's Grotto, WAFI will have an animated display throughout the mall and this year, patrons will see a simple and classic Christmas. 

Kids will receive a toy from Santa, and there'll be prizes up for grabs!

The mall will enthrall visitors of all ages from December 7th-24th during mall opening hours with special timings as it gets busier. Children who visit Santa in his grotto will receive a cuddly toy, a framed photograph with Santa, a raffle coupon for a chance to win one of the two prizes with Lufthansa German Airlines and many more offers throughout the mall for only AED 60!
 
Children that visit the grotto can enjoy the free gingerbread decoration area where they can create their own festive edible goodies while patiently waiting to meet Santa! What’s more, the Light and Sound Show that will run through this period facing the Pyramid’s entrance every evening at 6:30pm, 7:30pm 8:00pm and 9:30pm.

Adding up to the festivities, a visit to a very festive ArtE, The Makers’ Market is highly recommended. The lively bazaar will host beautifully crafted goods including handicrafts, ceramics, candles, fashion, accessories and much more.

Santa's Grotto at WAFI for 2017 will have the following opening times:

  • 7th December, 5pm onwards
  • 8th - 15th December, 9am - 10pm
