The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Open is held around February/March each year at the Dubai Tennis Stadium . This two-week event includes both men’s and women’s tournaments. The USD 2 million prize money has established Dubai on the tennis circuit especially having hosted tennis greats like Roger Federer, the Williams sisters, Andre Agassi, to name just a few of the tennis celebrities who have played on Dubai’s courts. Tickets for the later rounds sell out fast so if you are a tennis fan, be sure to book your tickets early in January once they are launched. Expect to drop at least AED 400 or so for the finals. Tickets for the first three days are significantly cheaper around AED 50 and are a lot easier to get.
