The main aims of the Dubai Caledonian Society are to bring to Dubai and the UAE a taste of Scotland, to encourage multi-national ties in both business and social arenas and to raise funds for charities both in Scotland and the UAE.

The Society welcomes everyone of Scots descent as well as those who have a strong interest in, or close connection with, Scotland.

Socialising has had a special place in the hearts of all Scots, and we expect to provide a focal point, through the Society's events, for all Scots men and women to gather and celebrate our proud heritage.

Appeal for Help - Pakistan Flood Victims

As you might all be aware that the number of people suffering from the massive floods in Pakistan exceeds 13 million.  To help these victims Barloworld Logistics is planning a Charity Container to Pakistan, full of donations in kind.

Pakistan is close to our region, we have a lot of employees from Pakistan as you may have, who are concerned for their families back home. We appeal to all to come forward with possible donations for this great cause.

Location to drop donations: Rashidiya Warehouse (ask for storing at designation area)
Timing: 8am - 3pm

What can you donate?

Clothes, blankets, tents, food rations (flour, sugar, canned foods etc) dry medicines

Packing list requirements: Please pack your donations in a box packing list pasted on the top. So sorting is easy.

Title / Marking: Please write on top of packets "Pakistan Flood Relief" as to distinguish the cargo in storage.
