EWmums Groups & FAQs
We have three kinds of mums' groups that meet every week ExpatBumps & Babes, ExpatMums & Tots and ExpatBoddlers.
As expats in Dubai, we completely understand that sometimes life here can get a little bit lonely. Especially if you're an expectant mother, new mum of her first child or even a seasoned parent with a brood at home... It's nice to get out of the house now and again, meet and interact with other mums, gain advice and even create a social life for your little ones!
As part of the ExpatWoman community, we hold regularly coffee mornings and meet-ups for you to attend with your mini-mes, so you and they can enjoy a fun-filled and relaxing morning out in various locations across Dubai.
We have three types of mums' groups that occur every week; they're ExpatBumps & Babe, ExpatMums & Tots and ExpatBoddlers. As an EWmum, we hope you can find the time to join us at any one that may suit you and your child best!

So let's take a look at them so you can decide which one would be best for you and your little one...
ExpatBumps & Babes
Our Bumps & Babes coffee mornings are designed to get together pregnant ladies and new mums. These popular groups are a great way to gather and share information and voice any concerns you may have with other mums living in Dubai. With soft play mats for the little ones, and plenty of coffee and tea on hand for you mums, it's a great way of meeting new people... Just watch out for the sea of prams and buggies!
Expat Mums & Tots
Our Mums & tots groups are for those of you who have out-grown the Bumps & Babes group, or if you have older children. Come along and let them get rid of some energy, play with other children at a similar age to then and all in the safety of the activity rooms while you have a chat and relax with a cup of tea or coffee. It's another great way of making new friends and something diffierent to do for a couple of hours each week!
Expat Mums & Tots - Boddlers
This group is organised for you mums who have a little one that's around the 18th month old mark or less... Split into two areas in the meet-up, your youngest ones (18 mths and below) can roam free in the fun and learn area... While your older boddlers (above 18 mths) can enjoy the fun play area! After some time separately, the whole group then joins together for another hour for free play suited to all ages!
! Remember: at every group, make sure to introduce yourself to our lovely EWmums host that will be on-hand to introduce you to fellow mums and make you feel welcome to the entire group. Don't forget to ask them about upcoming ExpatWoman events and any tickets that you may purchase to get involved in what else is happening!
Whether you're a mother-to-be, a new mum or a parent of four or more, there's no denying that it helps to gain support whenever needed. And there's no better way to get that help than by coming along to one of our weekly EWmums groups, or by getting to know our experts at EW HQ online and on the forum.
The purpose of EWmums is to ensure our EWers have a support network when it comes to parenting; seek and gain advice about everything from the right pram to buy, to breast or bottle feeding, to tips on how to handle your child's next tantrum! Not only that, but we aim to provide all the information you need about parenting, health and safety, family activities in Dubai and whatever else you might need as a parent living as an expat in the Emirate.
Don't be shy about getting in touch with us, or feel free to join our team at one of our weekly EWmums!
