Ladybird Nursery is a Montessori Nursery school established in 1996. The school is located on a quiet road in Jumeirah. The nursery has six spacious classrooms, each equipped with the latest educational equipment, including Montessori materials, toys, games and a vast selection of books. We have a large indoor play area with soft-play, a home corner and a dressing-up box. The outdoor playground has sand and water play, bicycle and growing areas. To ensure the general well being and safety of the children, a trained licensed nurse is on the school premises at all times. Our two FS1 classrooms have state of the art, electronic smartboards for the children and teachers to use. Through the use of the smartboards learning is transformed to an interactive experience allowing students to reach higher educational goals and increase their retention of learning while energising them at the same time.

We are very proud of our experienced and dedicated staff. These individuals work together as a team and each has unique talents they bring to the children at Ladybird. Together they provide a warm caring friendly environment where children have fun. Our staff turnover is very low ensuring continuity of education and care for your child. We have a high staff to child ratio and all teachers are British or European trained.

 

The children range from 18 months to 4 years old, and are classed in their appropriate age and class/year group. We offer The Toddler Class for 18mths – 2 years, the Pre-Foundation Year 2.5yrs to 3years and Foundation Stage 1 (FS1) for 3.5 years to 4 years.

The Ladybird curriculum is the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in a Montessori setting. As part of our programme we also offer mini chefs, Arabic, Music & Movement, Singing with a Music institute, Art & Craft.
