We invited our fellow sisters to join us at a special Breast Cancer Awareness luncheon we hosted with Drs. Nicolas & Asp...

Not a lot of people realise that the most common cancer worldwide is breast cancer... So it's no wonder then that there's a whole month dedicated to supporting women who are living with it or survived it.

It's incredibly important that we are all aware of our health, by checking and examining our breast and bodies regularly.

Nicolas & Asp Breast Cancer Lunch

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we invited our fellow sisters who have lived through and with the disease, and supporters of promoting awareness, to a special luncheon we arranged with the team at Drs. Nicolas & ASP.

Experts joined us to discuss the disease, its treatments and also the support available to women here in the UAE.

Did you join us? You may have been ex-papped!

At the event, our EWers had the chance to meet with and talk to expert Dr. Dragana Acimovic, who graduated from the University of Belgrade in 2000 and later specialised in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. She has worked with the team at Drs. Nicolas & ASP since June 2016.

During the luncheon, women were able to ask Dr. Acimovic questions the had about breast cancer, women's health, high-risk pregnancies and oncology overall, before enjoying a free lunch on us.
