Were You Ex-Papped at Living in Dubai?

September is a busy time in Dubai... With the start of the new school year, everyone's back into full-swing, and no doubt newbies are beginning to settle in to their new lives here. In an effort to welcome any new expats to the region, as well as provide them with the best source of information, we held our annual Living in Dubai event... And it was bigger than ever before!

This year we had over 1000 EWers join us at our popular annual lifestyle event for a fun-filled, family friend day out. Visitors had the opportunity to witness the ExpatWoman website come to life, and had the chance to find answers to any question they may have about life here in the emirate.

Alongside the expertise of our ExpatWoman team, visitors were able to meet with experts from all fields featured on our website. Plus, there were competitions, quizzes, raffles, goodie bags, a boot camp session, a science show and lots more fun that visitors were able to partake in.

Highlights of the day include witness members of the ExpatWoman team and the public get red-faced as they tried out the short boot-camp session, hosted by Pinnacle Performance. Plus, raffles were held throughout the day with some huge prizes up for grabs; including a 1 night stay for 2 in a 5* Dubai resort, thanks to the team at Cobone, as well as a AED 1500 hamper from #BootsMiddleEast.

Home styling experts THE One gave out exclusive discount vouchers for EWers to spend at their MOE store, conveniently nearby in the mall adjacent to the Sheraton Dubai MOE Hotel.

The teams from Precision Dental Clinic and Golden Age Institute got visitors excited with two quizzes each of them held throughout the day, with prizes for participants at the end of them both. Precision Dental Clinic tested just how well visitors to the event really knew Dubai, and Golden Age Institute tested their Arabic knowledge!

Plus, on stage, the Rock It Scientists joined us once again to bring a fascinating science show to the stage, which delighted children on the day with their wacky experiments and magic tricks.
