Satwa is located next to Jumeirah and opposite Business Bay. The location is very central but many of the buildings are old and sub standard. Currently it is home to the lower income groups in Dubai despite its superb locations. Rent is very cheap however do not expect to find high quality accommodation here apart from the odd quirky well- looked after villas. There is a bustling centre with many bargains to be had with cheap and good food available from the many restaurants as well as excellent textile shops.
