The Lakes is a gated community featuring anything from 2/ 4 and 4 bed villas. Not as luxurious or spacious at the surrounding gated communities but this makes The Springs a more affordable option for villa- living. Some villas do come with their own pools. Some villas have not been very well maintained so have a thorough check before you move in. There is a community centre for shopping as well as shared pools and recreation areas.
Perfect for: Families, couples & singletons

The amenities that are available in the Springs are swimming pools, parks, bbq areas, nurseries, spas, community centres and gyms, and The Montogomerie is near by. There is the Town Centre which has Spinneys, Opticians, coffee shops, Shakespeare Café, McDonalds and there is also a ladies and gents beauty salon.
Why I/ we like living here:
The Springs is a gated community and is ideal for families, it’s close proximity to Dubai Marina, several five star hotels and The Mall of the Emirates is also a matter of minutes away by car. Ideal location for Al Khail Road.
The Lakes, The Springs and The Meadows were some of the first self-contained communities in Dubai to open their doors. Property here is a favourite with expats who live in Dubai.
This is “Dubai neighbourhood” at its greatest, where kids play out in the streets surrounding the villas, go over to each other's houses for play dates or meet up at one of the many parks or swimming pools which are dotted around all the communities.
The Springs, Dubai
This is the most reasonably-priced of these three Dubai property areas. Most streets have semi-detached or 'terraced' houses that are mostly "two up, two downs" but with the added bonus of a study or maid's room. You will find mostly 'young' families or young professionals living there.
The ample sized gardens and balconys remind us that this is after all Dubai! The Springs have 2 and 3 bed houses. All the areas have shared pools and parks, and have easy access to the community centres where there are supermarkets and other shops available.
The Meadows and The Lakes, Dubai
These areas are generally more upmarket then the Springs, boasting larger houses ranging from 3 to 5/6 bedrooms.
Most are semi detached with 2 parking spaces per household and with an outside maid's room.
Again, shared pools and parks are dotted around, roads are tree lined, and pavements wide enough for cycling....the perfect picture of suburbia!
Schools are also available within the community with buses picking up kids from all over the communities. Or if you are lucky to live nearby, it's a small walk away.
All in all living in The Lakes, The Springs or The Meadows communities offers you a very much self–contained area, bringing all the facilities of close community living into a safe and enjoyable world.
If you wish to leave your little haven, massive shopping malls are a short drive away, beaches a mere 10 mins and golf is right on your doorstep!! Ideal living!
