A culinary showcase for the hotel’s five top restaurants, head to Al Bahou for the Friday JazzSumptuous Brunch. Sample speciality dishes from China, Italy, India, Morocco and beyond, and follow in the footsteps of the hotel’s namesake – legendary explorer, Ibn Battuta.
Indulge in your favourite dishes including Peking Duck, freshly shucked oysters, Indian tandoori skewers and aromatic tagines, but save room for a stroll through the hotel’s dedicated Dessert Room or a dip in the chocolate fountain.
Offering fun for all the family, the JazzSumptuous brunch present a sensuous saxophone and keyboard duet playing live, and plenty of fun activities for the younger members of the family.
Brunch packages start from AED 295 with soft drinks up to AED 495 including unlimited genuine French fizz. Children aged six years or under eat for free, and seven to 12 year olds pay just AED 95.
Double the fun for ladies at The Gate
Ladies night at Ibn Battuta Gate offers not one but two fantastic venues to choose from every Tuesday. Plump for your favourite bar and hang out with the girls all night or flit between the two for double the fun.
Start the night in the soaring grandeur of Al Bahou where sophisticated ladies can enjoy some midweek relaxation with five free beverage vouchers for a classic red or white, or sparkling grape. As the night develops and the atmosphere intensifies, move across to the elegant Sinatra Lounge which has teamed up with Diablo nightclub for a musical evening courtesy of the hotel’s resident DJ who will play a variety of favourites all night.

Al fresco fun at Mistral
As the mercury drops and the cool winter nights beckon, Mistral is opening up its extensive terrace for a special weekend BBQ Buffet Lunch every Saturday from 14 January 2012. Select your favourite cuts of meat or seafood items and let the chef prepare it to your liking. Sizzling steaks, plump juicy prawns and tender chicken kebabs are complemented by a chilled selection of fresh salads, dips and a wickedly indulgent dessert selection.
