The final scene from Bridget Jones - Edge of Reason and she barges into a board room full of business men looking like a drowned rat from being soaked by the roadside by not one but two trucks! She’s ready to announce her undying love for Mark Darcy, after a very embarrassing moment attempting to explain why she’s there both she and Mark leave the room, he has an important question for Bridget and what does Bridget say? So long as it’s not ‘will you marry me’… oh Bridget! Luckily love conquers all and Mr Darcy pops the question, Bridget’s life is complete, or is it! What happens next has had us all wondering until now, did Bridget get her happy ever after? All will be revealed in the sequel, Bridget Jones’s Baby – hitting cinemas across the Middle East on Thursday 15th September.
And, so the story continues with the next chapter in the diary of Bridget Jones with the movie, Bridget Jones’s Baby. Sadly there are no wedding bells for Bridget and Mark and we feel Bridget’s pain as told through her ever loveable self.
The laughable drama slash chick flick unfolds in this film, true Bridget Jones style! A new love interest is on the scene for Bridget (Renee Zellweger) and oh jeez, a baby on the way but wait, who’s the daddy? Will it be Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) or the new guy, a very handsome billionaire American, Jack (Patrick Dempsey). Bridget does some serious yet comical and fun loving soul searching in this film as the baffled mom-to-be tries to figure out who the father is.
Ladies, reach for the Galaxy chocolate stash, get some girlfriends together and get ready for a stonker of a film, full of totally relatable and laugh out moments.
What we thought: it's a long time coming for this movie release and it couldn't be more anticipated - after all everyone loves Bridget Jones, right?! This all star cast including the wonderful Emma Thompson and the fabulous Patrick Dempsey make this movie an absolute must see of 2016. We'll be watching this again and again and will definately be a firm favourite in our movie collection - go and see this, laugh, giggle and enjoy.
