5 Things That Happened at This Year's Dubai Jazz Festival 

Celebrating 15 years, the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival was a huge success across the board... Here's 5 highlights of the entire festival!

Every year, the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival brings the best worldwide and regional talent right to Dubai for all music lovers to enjoy. And this year, the event did not disappoint!

If you don't know by now - since the Internet has been flooded with pictures, videos and pure fan love for all acts since the event started - Enrique Iglesias headlined on the final night, with the best-selling female artist of all time, Mariah Carey, and before her, the legend that is Sir Tom Jones performing on previous nights.

Plus each night, festival-goers were treated to the sounds of the three supporting acts; The Wanted's ex-band memer Nathan Sykes, Raul Midón and The Rad Trads.

1. Mariah Carey SLAYED her performance



Both critics and her Lambs (Mariah's fans) are raving about her outstanding performance, which even included an emotional tribute of One More Try to the late George Michael.  

2. Enrique Iglesias got up close and personal with fans



One lucky fan even had the chance to sing a spot of karaoke with him onstage. 

3. Festival goers had chance to see upcoming regional talents live

As the event this year teamed up with Anghami, they're brand new sessions brought artists like Blu Fiefer, Postcards, Mougleta and Layla Kardan among others to the festival on two sub stages. 

4. The audience witnessed a legend perform

Because Sir Tom Jones is, without a doubt, a musical LEGEND. Of course, he performed favourites like Sex Bomb and You Can Leave Your Hat On. 

5. Over 37,000 guests attended, visiting from different parts of the world
