I second Shater Abbas; their lari kebabs are really good and tender (small pcs of marinated lamb). If u are looking for the mince variety, then the kofta kebabs are also good. And certainly can't go wrong with the mixed starters of hummos, babghanoush, muttabal etc. Very fresh and the best I have had so far. If we have the time then we enjoy going to the Al Sadd branch as the place has a nice feel to it.

We like Shatar Abbas, they have an outlet at City Centre, we usually call in our order and pick up. They also have branches off Al Saad and one near Jarir bookstore on Salwa Road. They have a chicken marinated in yougurt which is really good, we find their lamb kebabs are always tender (we have lari kebab).

Shebestan in Al Sadd. The external decor is..well..neon, but the service is good, and the lamb kebab is mighty tasty .

Hi all
Love the kebabs from Wafi Gourmet - yogurt marinated ones, ones mixed with parsley and onion etc., but as their service is so bad, am looking for other recommendations for great tasting kebabs. Does anyone have any suggestions for places that are not too expensive?
Thanks in advance...
