Great to hear they are accepting cash this year. We go every year and love it! Really looking forward to it.

Can't remember that they've ever published these before in previous years - we generally go and look at the schedules for the various theatres and tastings as soon as we get there, and plan our day (and evening!) then.

Is there a schedule for the cooking demos and classes. Can't seem to find it anywhere on the site.

Please help!

Yes you can, AED 60 in advance, AED 75 on the door.

ETA I think it says that the free tickets are for Saturday only

Thanks for that. Not sure 100% if I can go yet, so would prefer not to pay in advance incase I can't make it after all.

Apparently they'll give free tickets today at the Education Fair...

We've been in the past and really enjoyed it so we are going again this year. We normally buy VIP tickets which work out to be extremely good value if you manage to pick up a deal too. You get a coupon book which allows you to have a certain number of free dinners plus 2 beverages (although check what is included this year). You go round different stands that are being operated by hotels and restaurants and when you find something you want to try, you hand in a voucher and get your food.

This year we are just going for the normal entry ticket because we got a very good deal on these early on. We will therefore be paying for our food as we go. Last year I seem to recall that each sample meal was between 40 - 50 dirhams for a fair size portion (not a huge one though).

Hope this helps!

Hi all, has anyone been to Taste of Dubai and how does the ticketing system work, it seems to be a bit confusing. There also seems to be all sorts of deals going on but I am unsure if they are worth it or not. I may go on Friday but need to knwo the best options. Can anyone advise who has been in the past or is intending to go this year? TIA
