My husband is going to be selling his 2005 Ford Explorer soon. Should be around your price range. If you want to know more let me know.

I've actually had a very positive experience from buying a car on our very own Expat Woman classified section - the forum was invaluable for getting streetwise about Dubai........this gave me the confidence to buy a car from a lady on the classified section. She was a US expat and actually gave me so much advice, I almost felt obliged to buy her SUV:-) Anyway, we kept in touch and are still really good friends...............and I used the car for 2 years, problem free before trading it in for something bigger.

Also, if the aircon is broken it is usually a minor fix- that's not a problem to worry too much about

Dubizzle.
Go and see the car, then if you are interested go to A2B garage and have them do an assessment for 250dhs.
It will list the problems, but I can almost guarantee you will come out better than buying from a dealership!
