We used to go on holiday with our best friends and our 4 children (2 each!!) We would go in to cafes and restuarants and the kids were always well behaved at the table. On one occasion an older couple passed our table and commented on how well behaved they all were. At that time they ranged in age from 2 years to 10. We thanked them and they left. Another couple with a noisy, obnoxious 4/5 year old passed us on the way out and said that we were lucky to have such quiet kids. My friend turned and said "it's nothing to do with luck, it's sheer hard work and making sure right from day 1 that they know that you're in charge" the couple looked sheepish and left!!

I have to admit that when you and your children walked into the box at the interval, I looked at my fellow concert goers and rolled my eyes a bit. But I was wrong.Your two kids, even though I think they were no older than six or seven were fantasically well behaved. They were an absolute pleasure to watch a concert with! I am so impressed - they even waited for the right moment to cough! And they were awfuly cute too!I know I gave you kudos after the concert, but I think that you deserve some more public appliause. I'm so impressed - I hope that next time I'm at a concert, you're sitting right next to us! Your children were so charming and well behaved at such a young age! (And your daughter's flower necklace which she showed me at the break was indeed lovely!)Thank you very much - you should be very proud!
