I also have done lots of research and got the following quotes for a 3 bed villa. All were recomended on this forum.
Thames shipping - 4200 reduced to 3500
Gill Packing 2500
Global Pack 3950
Pack n Move 4000
Ocean Air Moves -4800 reduced to 4200
All included packing materials, packing, transport and putting together, excluding curtain rails, pictures and similar. quotes varied between 8 and 10 men 2 to 4 trucks and 1 to 2 days!!!
We have chosen to move on 15th Feb with Thames. I will let you knwo how we get on. Personally I cant belevie it will be a one day job but what do I know ;-)
Hi all,
Having done lots of searches on the forum I got three companies to come over for a quote to move us from a 2 bed apartment on SZR to the Springs. The quotes were
Gill Packing: 2300
Freightworks: 3100 (also said it would take 2 days)
Global Pack: 2850
So I'm trying to decide between Gill and Global, and wondered if anyone had any recent feedback on either of them.
