Has anyone been? Was it worth it? What are the prices like? Is there anything else there apart from books?

Agree,it was good to see people volunteering for such events. My daughter who's just 8 was telling one of the staff she's going to be a volunteer on the ship when she grows up, cos it's her dream job, sailing and reading:)

Haha "novel" experience. We enjoyed it, it made a change from all the usual activities and good to see people giving back to the world wide community.

Had been there onThursday. Quite a novel experience. The staff was very helpful. There is a nice selection of books for kids in the 3-6 category, and a whole shelf of Nancy Drew,Hardy Boys, Narnia and Hannah Montana books. Adult fiction is not that great. There are a lot of books on pets and craft, sewing etc, apart from encyclopedias and dictionaries. The pricing is ok, going from 10 dhs to 50 dhs. There are also some stationery items for sale.
