I bought mine from 'The One'. It will probably be cheaper to go to either Sharjah or the Outlet Mall though.

Thanks. Turns out we'll move to Asia soon so I guess that topic is done for me! = )

It's called Boulevard (I think) and is in the Detroit building. Chi Nail Spa is in the same building, map here:

Really, Motorcity? Whereabouts is the shop? Not sure where T Morgans is

Lifestyle usually have nice ones and even better they frequently have sales 25% - 75% off store wide. So if you are not in a hurry to get it, wait for the sales :-)

There are some nice Buddha statues/indoor fountains at Lifestyle that I saw on the ground floor in Dubai Mall. They might have similar ones in their other stores too.

Try the Antique Museam in Al Quoz behind MoE, they have heaps of Buddha stuff the last time I was there. Even one carved from wood about 10 feet high. And they're really cheap.

I'm looking for a large Buddha statue to put in garden but which doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Has anyone seen something similar somewhere?

TIA
