Any recommendations for books on, how to look after you new born baby? or becoming a new parent? or first year of life? Just an easy read....help me understand and be aware of the common upcoming stages.

Read all my pregnancy books now, only 5 weeks left, think the next chapter is needed :)

If you know anyone in the UK, they might be able to get hold of the free NHS book called 'Birth to Five' and send it out to you. My sister sent me hers. I've found it a really useful overview for everything from breastfeeding to child development. It's not complicated and just gives an overview. Just a thought in case you could get hold of one. edited by waterbaby on 29/09/2011

"what to expect the first year" is worth a read, "the no cry sleep solution" also good to read sooner rather than later.
