Thailand 'baby'moon cancelled due to flooding - where else to go?

hi everyone, DH and I were looking forward to a short Thailand babymoon before baby arrives early next year but now what with all the flooding it is making us very nervous so we have just decided to cancel and try somewhere else :(
Do any of you have any suggestions to anywhere where the weather is nice and cool (i love rain!), green and shopping is reasonable? I was thinking of Bali? has anyone been? Also, has anyone been to Istanbul?
Would appreciate your opinions before i start the whole mad search for best package thing!
