I also recommend Dr. Amel El Tayeb, but what previous poster has said is true... he is fully booked usually weeks in advance. You may be put on a waitlist, and the clinic will call you should they have a cancellation. However, I am concerned as your original post says it's [i'>very urgent[/i'>[u'>[/u'>. If you suspect person requires urgent medical care (for example, if you suspect "thyroid storm"), then I would advise going to the emergency ward at a hospital immediately. Once urgent matter is treated or ruled out, you can book an appointment and wait a few weeks. HTH

During my last pregnancy i had some thyroid complications and my gyneco recommended Dr Zubaidi. I do agree with Mrs Mopp, he is very very thorough and caring and undoubtedly recommend him. If i am not mistaken, it is easy to get a same day appointment.

Dr. Iyad Ksseiry at City Hospital. Great doctor and really nice person. Only I think you should insist to have an appointment quickly because he is always very busy and the receptionists shield a lot.

Can recommend Dr. Amel Tayeb at the Diabetes and Endocrine Center in Healthcare city (tel. 04-3752345). He's an endocrinologist and he's very good. He's been recommended here before as well.
