In all honesty I'd be staying off the roads the entire weekend, certain areas will be grid-locked and if last year is anything to go by it'll be carnage - possibly quite literally.

People from other towns come to Dubai for an outing and the malls are the first place to go. Good business for shop owners as most people have just received their salaries too....
