Safa Park Flea Market - any tips?

First time as a seller at Safa Park tomorrow. Wondering if anyone had any tips on how to best manage your table and goods.

Do you need signs about what you are selling? Can you put items on the floor (a bit confused, confirmation email says no piling clothes on the floor, website says you can pile things around your table). Is it best to lay things out, or put them in boxes on the table/on the floor (if allowed).

Any advice from past sellers welcome. Have read all the posts, but didn't find much information that related to what I was wondering.

Many thanks in advance

Keep your money in a bag either round your waist or one that has a strap that will go across your body. Have a good supply of small notes and also some coins. If you have a lot of one particular type of clothing or baby clothes, they are better put into boxes. Watch out for thieves, they will take an opportunity whilst someone keeps you looking the other way. It really does help if there are two of you on the stall. Get there as early as you can in the hope that you will be able to park near the entrance. If you have a flat bed trolley (or something similar) they are excellent for moving a lot of stuff in one go. Hope you have a profitable day. edited by amelia on 02/12/2011

Hopefully someone can bump up a relevant thread as someone posted lots and lots of really useful tips. The main concern is theft and I do remember this poster saying only display one shoe. If someone in interested let them try the pair, otherwise the shoes may 'walk'.
