IF you handle it then try and take it back to it's family if there is one, then they're likely to reject it. Ducks aren't hard to rear at all. There are two ducks on the lake that's in Meadows 5. Poor little thing.
Not familiar with springs 6, but does it have a lake? Maybe the rest of the family are there and the little one has somehow wandered off and got lost. Maybe check the lake (if there is one) when you manage to catch the duckling and a release there might work. Is mummy duck likely to reject a duckling after this time has passed and harm the baby? (I have no clue about ducks!)
Anyone else seen the baby duck near the entrance of Springs 6? No other ducks around, so no mommy. Gave it some food this morning and tried to catch it, but no luck. Will go back this afternoon and give it another go.
Do you think I should catch it or just leave it and hope that there is a mommy around somewhere? The poor thing was starving and thirsty :-(
