Well my kids have been going to Dr. Shireen at https://www.osteopathydubai.com/meet-the-team/dr-shireen-khan/, she is awesome. Even speaks German. She is so understanding the some how the kids trust her immediately. Can't say enough good things about her. I heard she will be also sitting in Sharjah soon. Which is perfect as its closer to where we are.

i recommend Dr. Manoj Chandran (Specialist Paediatrician). He is an author and a speaker at paediatric forums and has won the “Best Scientific Paper” award at the Indian Academy of Paediatrics Conference in 2000.

We have not been in Dubai long and I was worried about finding a good pediatrician to provide care similar to that received in UK. One of our children has asthma and the other suffers a lot with constipation. Found dr David at the American Hospital - uk trained with Uk methods. Doesnt over-treat like some of the others I've heard about. Listens carefully and he is great with the kids. His website is: www.dubaiallergy.com

Well as I recommended on this tread already my children's Paed is Dr Talal (Farha clinics) however I don't have his mobile number and wouldn't expect it but would go to him regardless....is it safe to chat with your doctor over the phone without him seeing your child? Or does the doctor take the appointments? I have heard from a good few people here that they have their doctor's mobile number but coming from the UK it's not something I'd expect or be use to.

One more vote for Dr. Khann at Cooper Clinic, I have been going to him with my both kids for 4 years now and he was allways very kind and answering all the questions I have had! He is very accessible , you can call him on his mobile phone as well!

MEDICLINIC WELCARE HOSPITAL MEDICLINIC CITY HOSPITAL CANADIAN SPECIALIST HOSPITAL AMERICAN HOSPITAL Any feedback would be helpful! Try Dr Fadil in the city hospital, he is good, but I still think if you try Dr Talal in Farha Children Clinic they have some insurance companies, you can check if they have your insurance this would a best option as it works for us very well.

I wouldn't recommend Dr Loubser! I took my DD to him for constipation problem. Getting in was easy and he came highly recommended from people but was not help to my DD. Was not able to help in emergencies too...very frustrating. Needless to say I no longer see him.

I would agree with all the ladies who recommended Dr Talal in Farha children clinic in Dubai health care city. Absolutely brilliant, no hesitations there in recommending him, i am sure he was the head of paediatrics in the the city hospital. Very importantly ladies, in case you needed your child hospitalized, he can admit his sick children who need hospital to the city hospital or the American hospital and look after them while in. He just does not give you his mobile number, but we are totally happy to wait for his appointments.. he is good in replying to my questions by emails and calling back in emergencies.

Dr Loubser at Infinity Clinic on al Wasl Rd opposite Park N Shop. I trust him absolutely and he is amazing with children. He used to be Head Paediatrician at the Amercian Hospital. I'm not sure if they are accepting new patients however as it's usely quite hard to get in with them! yes yes and yes. Very good doctor, it is true he isnt taking on new patients, but I know of a friend who was recently able to get her son seen by him, so worth a try for sure :) I finally took my 3 yr old son to Dr. Loubser after a 2 month wait period - it was definitely worth the wait. He sorted out my son's issues with breathing, something he was suffering with for over a year. Went to 3 other pediatricians in Dubai before this and none of them were able to help.

We have had and still have lots of visit to Dr Talal in Farha Children Clinic, faultless every time. Very knowledgeable, to the point, with brilliant communications. My children love going to see him, and even when passing by the healthcare city, they get excited for the possibility of seeing him. We can not pay back his excellent work and can not recommend him enough. all the family and many of our friends go to see him and all seem to have the same views His clinic number is 043612404 and his website is www.uaechildren.com For us, he is far in DHCC but worth every mile..

Save some space for me! I had to go twice in 2 weeks for 2 seperate things and still need to go back for DS 2 year check up!

We go to Dr. Samitha at Bur Juman (UniCare)...she is very responsive and calm....you can ask her anything that's on your mind without feeling like its a silly question. Dr Khan has been recommended a few times on this forum. I took my LOs to him last week and was not impressed. He seemed disinterested, didn't engage much with me or the kids and spent most of the appointment staring at his blackberry. Maybe I got him on an off-day but probably wont go back as he is quite far from where I live and not worth the trip.

Hi, I used the forum and went to several recommended pediatricians. None of them satisfied me and my husband. We like to know all details of the medical case, and we prefer pediatricians who provide mobiles and respond to messages fast. Unfortunately, most of them do it after hours - and sometimes 5 hours after the message.... So, my friend recommended a doctor in Al Barsha Specialist Medical Center next to Holiday Inn. His name is Dr Omid Samadi. Clinic's number is 043409495. He speaks multiple languages - studied abroad and has 10 year experience in Dubai. He cares about the child, responds to messages within 15 minutes and spends time during his appointments.... Plus it's inexpensive 250AED per visit...comparing to 500AED in the City Hospital, and 350AED for mist doctors mentioned on the forum. We are under insurance, so we do not care too much but this is the best professional we found. Hope it helps.
