Hi can anyone tell me where the best public beaches are in Dubai please. We have visitors coming very soon and they will be keen to have a dip in the sea.

Oh yes that's right. It wasn't sounding right in my head as I typed it, but I couldn't figure out why, so just went with it, hah. too many things have Jumeriah and Beach in their name..... all too confusing far too often :)

I like [b'>Jumeirah Beach Park[/b'>, ! is next to Dubai ladies club - the beach your are talking about is Jumeriah open beach; colloquially known as Russian Beach

I like Jumeirah Beach Park, but not near the Dubai Marine Beach Club; it is way too packed there. Most people seem to be too lazy to venture away from that end of the beach, where the main parking is, so if you go to to other end it's much, much less crowded. Even if you park here, al you have to do is walk a good 5-10 mins and the crowd thins significantly. I like to park near Bikers Cafe (opposite Mercato) and access Jumeirah beach from there. Added bonus - Bikers is delicious for breakfast and lunch!

I like Black Palace Beach. There are no facilities or shade but it's a big open space and you can drive right up. It's off Al Sufouh Road and has a facebook page [url=https://www.facebook.com/pages/Black-Palace-Beach/309724955711153?fref=ts'>here[/url'>

JBR gets packed and personally i find it full of rubbish and cigarette ends Jumeriah Beach Park is nice but you have to get there early as it gets packed on the weekends You can hire sun loungers but no pad for them? and umbrellas, for some reason the sand is full of cigarette ends again grrrrr, there is a small cafe that sells snacks and drinks Al Mamzar towards Sharjah is nice too.
