Hi Thunderbird and welcome to Dubai's summer :-( Yes my little one started not long after that!!Sounds like you have your hands full with not 1 but 2!!Good luck finding a nursery/school. I'm guessing you moved from Australia (as you mentioned the baby classes there) that is also where we are from but been living in Dubai for the past 6 years now. I'm a nursery teacher and was teaching here in Dubai for 4 years so I have some knowledge of activities ect what to do with our little girl but would also like her to have some interaction with other babies :-) I have heard of some kind of classes like that here somewhere but I think they can be quiet expensive but could be wrong.... I don't think we are allowed to arrange meet ups on this site but I intend on doing one of the coffee mornings in the future. I believe there are groups of women with babies who meet up at various locations. This might be a good place to meet others with babies close by to do a play date with?? I have a car but no license at the moment so i am unable to travel anywhere just now, but once I am settled I intend on trying to make it to a coffee morning.

Hi I have a 7 month old and I just moved here last week but we will be living in the Umm Sequim 2 area :( Isn't the crawling age fun? My little one has just got up on his hands and knees and is rocking so not long before he decides to get moving. It's a shame it's so hot, my daughter used to crawl around outside when she was little and it would keep her entertained for hours! Once I am settled and the 3 year old has started school I was going to try and find a class/program for babies. I used to attend one back in Australia with my first born, it was basically rhythmic movement (vestibular stimulation) all the exercises were designed to stimulate the children to help to assist their early development. Don't know if this sort of thing exists here in Dubai but the babies loved interacting with one another plus mum in a different and stimulating environment. Perhaps others might be able to make further suggestions
