Leaving Kuwait every 3 months...

Does anyone know if the rules have changed for leaving the country every three months in regards to not being able to stay out for just the day, but having to stay out for at least 48 hours? I have only been here 4 months, my first trip out was a day trip to Dubai, I have to leave again in July, but have been told that I can no longer just do a day trip? This concerns me because I will be travelling alone. Thank you for any light you can shed on this confusing matter?!
