It's funny you should mention Carrefour as I bought some of the nicest figs and nuts there last week - just in the regular nuts and spices section

I haven't been to the souq in a long time, but I used to always find them in the candy/ spice/ dried fruit stores. Usually there were 3 or more different types from different countries in different sizes. Maybe it's just the word "fig." Perhaps if you use the Arabic word for fig that would help? sorry - I don't know that that is. I've also bought them before in one of the grocery stores -- I think Carrefour. .

Hi Ladies, Does anyone know where I can buy dried figs here? I tried the Souk ,they didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. Thank you so much !
