This kitty has a problem but it's no reason to euthanize her, and we never would but a few people have suggested! She is in a crate yes at the vet but all she needs is a safe enclosed garden to live in.... Dipstick has had some sort of trauma to her sacral-lumbar vertebra and her pelvic region. It apparently healed on its own and it didn't heal perfectly. The bones are already fused. This is causing nerve damage, leading to her not being able to control her bathroom activities at the moment. Unfortunately the vet cannot attempt to do any surgery on her spinal area (rebreak and reset the bone etc) as it's just too risky. The vet believes her tail was removed in an effort to help relieve pressure on the nerve. Right now the vet is trying Vit B to help the nerve regenerate as well as anti-inflammatories. So we just have to hope that given time Dipstick will improve too! Bless her heart she is a lovely kitten. She has been tested for FIV and she is fine, vaccinated and spayed..anyone out there to help please? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1427066440857922&set=a.1427137694184130.1073741829.1421024298128803&type=1&theater
