Hi, we have a constantly barking dog nearby to us in AR.
It is driving us crazy. It goes on for hours at a time.. I am not at all knowledgeable about dogs but am concerned about the poor thing. Is it normal for them to be so vocal all of the time?
What is the best thing to do about this?
Any advice welcome? Thanks

If the owners are out, they might not be aware that their dog is barking constantly and would probably appreciate being told. many dogs that have separation anxiety bark this way - they can't stand to be left alone. Worth going and having a chat with your neighbours.

I agree with ecochic, Dogs bark bc of many reasons. Should talk to the neighbors as need to sort it out. It is really very annoying.

Dogs that are bored, left alone tend to bark this way. He could also just be barking because he sensed or heard a person's voice from outside the villa compound. Could be lots of reasons. I would suggest you speak to the owners and inform them personally, this way you get to meet the dog and see for yourself. I would avoid going to security as it just don't feel right.
